Little Deng said, “You’re truly wise, big sister.”
The doctor chimed in, “I have to say, your mindset is a dangerous one. Someone as outstanding as me—do you think I’d be locked up for no reason? You all need to take the initiative. Think about it. Really, give it some thought.”
Then, with a grand flourish, he slapped the table and casually declared, “Alright, I’m leaving.”

Wang Zixuan and his companion completely ignored him. The doctor stood up, waving as he walked away. When he passed by Little Deng, he even patted him on the shoulder. But when he reached the door, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t open it.

After struggling for a while, he turned to the two still seated and called out, “Can you open the door for me?”
They did open it, but only to shove him into the detention room. He glanced around—the place was fairly clean, though the walls were covered in messy graffiti. Suddenly, he turned his head and noticed someone lying sideways on a bed against the wall.

It was clear the man’s ankles were shackled, but what was that protruding from his head? Puzzled, the doctor walked over to another bed and sat down. At that moment, the person awoke, struggling to sit up with his hands bound together, staring blankly at the doctor.

The doctor licked his lips, awkwardly waved, and greeted him, “Hello there!”
He sat cautiously, but Huang Garfield stared at him for a long time before slowly standing and walking over, only to stop halfway. The doctor was so frightened he swallowed hard, not daring to move, pressing himself against the wall.

With a gaze full of emotion, Huang Garfield began to dance, even letting out a few feline cries, which only unsettled the doctor further.

So terrified that he stumbled over his words, the doctor stammered, “Brother, brother, look, I—I just started out in society. I really don’t know how to react when you play around like this.”

When Huang Garfield let out another catlike wail, the doctor jumped up in alarm, backing away several steps until he was pressed flat against the wall.

“Now you’re really taking it too far, brother. Calm down, calm down, you must calm down,” the doctor pleaded.

Suddenly, he remembered what happened after that Garfield cat entered the clinic—and the injection he’d given it. In a flash, everything became clear.

“Listen, brother, listen to me. This—this is just the effect of the medication, nothing more. It’s not about love or anything like that. How about this, why don’t you sit here with me? Come on, come.”

The doctor began to gently guide Huang Garfield, afraid he might lose control at any moment.

“That’s right, deep breaths. Relax. Deep breath, yes, yes, doesn’t that feel good? Feels much better now, right?”

But then Huang Garfield let out another shrill cry at the doctor, who edged even further away, keeping as much distance as possible.

“Alright, alright, how about this, brother—look, a little paper ball. See?”

The doctor pulled a useless wad of paper from his pocket, rolling it into a ball to attract his attention.

“See, it’s fun. Let’s play ball, okay? Play ball.”

He tossed the paper ball to Huang Garfield’s feet. Huang Garfield glanced at the ball, then back at the doctor, terrifying him even more. With a piercing scream, Huang Garfield launched into a new performance, leaving the doctor pressed against the wall, frozen in fear.

“Brother—you’re being rough. That’s not right. Too rough, brother. Brother, please, don’t come any closer.”
