After casually punishing Li Yao, Wang Kun paid him no further attention. Someone like Li Yao was utterly insignificant in his eyes—a trivial figure best left for Luo Feng to handle.

Li Yao, who had just suffered Wang Kun’s arbitrary discipline, now understood clearly that he possessed not the slightest power to resist. With a mere glance, Wang Kun had inflicted serious injuries upon him. Should he intensify the spiritual pressure even a bit, Li Yao might die on the spot. Such was the terror of a Spiritual Master. Their level was so exalted that even if they were not an Illusionist, the sheer force of their mental energy could crush a warrior’s spirit completely.

Soon, within just a few minutes, Wang Kun had single-handedly cleared every spirit of grass and wood from Mist Island.

But just as Wang Kun was about to finish and leave, a powerful aura erupted from deep beneath the island. With a thunderous roar, an enormous vine, like the tentacle of an octopus, burst forth from the earth, its immense strength overturning the entire Mist Island.

“What a terrifying monster!” Luo Feng, who had already flown off the island upon sensing the overwhelming power, could still feel the horror of the giant vine even from afar.

“Mo Yun Vine! Looks like my arrival has once again caught Babata’s attention,” Wang Kun thought, and as he extended his spiritual senses, he detected another aura in the depths below. Within moments, it drew nearer to the surface.

Suddenly, a gigantic, menacing, armored beast appeared in the sky above the devastated Mist Island.

Meanwhile, in Hong Ning Base City, Hong, in his residence, received the news that two king-level monsters had appeared in the heart of the Australian continent.

“Two king-level monsters!” Hong’s expression grew grave, and in a flash, he boarded a smart fighter jet, heading towards Australia.

Elsewhere, powerful senators from global factions set out as well.

In the airspace nearest to Mist Island, two senators from the HR Alliance, upon discovering that their destination now hosted king-level monsters, were so terrified they dared not advance.

“To think, two king-level monsters appeared at once!”

While the two were still reeling in shock, an even more unbelievable sight unfolded: in the sky above Mist Island, Wang Kun hovered high in midair. Without any visible movement, the monstrous, armored beast was instantly pierced through by a golden beam he cast. The Mo Yun Vine, with its multitude of giant tendrils, had several of them effortlessly severed by Wang Kun.

“How is this possible? He dispatched two king-level monsters so effortlessly!”

“Even Hong himself might not be able to do that!”

“Could it be that Wang Kun is now stronger than Hong?”

The two HR Alliance senators exchanged incredulous glances, their eyes full of disbelief. The news was simply too astonishing. These two monsters, which they dared not approach, had been dealt with so lightly by Wang Kun—how could they not be shocked?

Deep beneath Mist Island, Babata watched Wang Kun dispatch its two bait monsters with such ease. Anxiety crept into its heart.

“This little fellow acts so decisively, but why hasn’t he come down yet?”

Last time, Wang Kun had entered the passage of the Inkstar ship under Babata’s guidance. Normally, with his newfound power, he should have sought out Babata again. But in reality, Wang Kun showed no interest. He had already copied the Inkstar’s legacy and possessed the ability to leave Earth and venture into the universe. For the past few months, he had simply been waiting to reach the Star level before departing, just to be safe.

Hovering above Mist Island, after resolving the two king-level monsters with ease, Wang Kun prepared to retreat in triumph.

As for the attraction transmitted by Babata, he paid it no mind whatsoever.

Just as Wang Kun was about to leave, a smart spacecraft streaked rapidly across the sky, arriving above Mist Island. Hong’s figure appeared, standing tall in the void.

“Wang Kun, I never expected your strength to grow so quickly,” Hong exclaimed, his eyes brimming with admiration.

“Master, that vine-type monster is an auxiliary plant life form. I merely wounded it. If you tame it, it should be of great benefit to you,” Wang Kun offered Hong a favor.

Though Wang Kun did not value the Mo Yun Vine, it represented a tremendous opportunity for Hong. Auxiliary plant life forms were rare and expensive to purchase and cultivate.

“This is the Mo Yun Vine. If I tame it, it would greatly enhance a warrior’s strength. Are you really willing to let me have it?” Hong asked, smiling as he gazed at the vine in the distance.

“If you feel indebted, Master, then I won’t hand over the spirits of grass and wood I collected earlier to the martial hall,” Wang Kun replied, smiling.

“Very well, then this time I’ll accept your generosity. If you ever need anything, let me know.”

“By the way, when we return to Base City, come to the headquarters alone.”

Hong still did not know exactly how powerful Wang Kun had become, but since Wang Kun could dispatch two king-level monsters so casually—and with the Mo Yun Vine as well—his ability was at least on par with Hong’s own. Such strength deserved his full attention.
