Chapter 111: The Crisis of Qin Yanyun
Jin Jianghua gazed at Qin Yanyun with a demonic smile. His arm was slick with blood, and a crimson stain smeared the corners of his mouth, lending him a terrifying and gruesome appearance.
Summoning a thread of the laws of heaven and earth, Jin Jianghua channeled it into Qin Yanyun’s body, sealing all her strength. He then fished a pill—an antidote of sorts—from his bodice and forced it into her mouth. After a few breaths, Qin Yanyun felt a sliver of strength return. She asked, "What exactly do you want?"
At this moment, Qin Yanyun was gripped by fear. She had no idea what this monster intended to do to her. For a young woman who had never known the ways of the world, being rendered helpless by a scumbag who delighted in the torment of women was a source of profound terror.
Hearing her question, Jin Jianghua chuckled wickedly. "My dear beauty, you want to know what I have in store? I shall satisfy your curiosity soon enough. Rest assured, I will ensure you are quite pleased. Truth be told, your beauty is simply irresistible to me. Even now, I am overcome with an irrepressible impulse."
Hearing such shameless words, Qin Yanyun’s heart tightened with even greater dread. She never expected that a moment of impulsive resentment would lead her to such a wretched fate. Regret flooded her, but it was already too late.
Jin Jianghua had deliberately allowed her to recover her strength. He wanted her to experience the same agonizing screams and expressions of terror as the other women who had fallen into his clutches. This, the true reason for his twisted nature, was why he had lifted the paralytic toxin.
The three young men by Jin Jianghua’s side felt a stir of pity seeing such a beautiful girl in this predicament. However, their sympathy did not stem from seeing the evil of his actions, but merely from the regret that such a flower-like beauty was being ruined.
Sensing that his underlings were proving a nuisance to his "business," Jin Jianghua shot them a malicious glare, and they wisely vanished from the spot.
Qin Yanyun, witnessing his incomprehensible behavior, spoke with a fierce, biting tone: "A piece of trash like you will meet with retribution sooner or later."
"Heh." Jin Jianghua laughed. "If there were truly such a thing as retribution, I don't know how many times I would have died already. Do you really think I’d believe such things, my beauty?"
"I curse you to a wretched death!" she spat.
Jin Jianghua was not the least bit angered by her curse; instead, his eerie grin widened. His smile was loathsome in her eyes. He watched her for a long time without making a move, perhaps because she was too beautiful to look away from, or perhaps he wanted to see if her mental state would collapse until she knelt and begged for mercy.
Not only did Qin Yanyun show no signs of begging, but she continued to berate him, which seemed to please him more than any praise. After a while, he spoke: "My beauty, I am about to begin serving you now! Do not be afraid."
As he spoke, he slowly reached toward her chest. Qin Yanyun was consumed by mounting terror—nothing but raw, suffocating fear. She would rather he had poisoned her to death than endure such humiliation.
"What are you doing?" she asked, her voice trembling. "I warn you, don't you dare!"
"Hahaha!" Jin Jianghua was even more excited by her reaction. "Don't worry, my beauty. I won't be reckless."
"No! Ah!"
As his voice trailed off, he violently ripped the buttons from her white coat. Qin Yanyun let out a shrill, terrified scream, tears streaming from her eyes. She was so frightened she even forgot to curse him.
The sound of her terrified shriek only fueled Jin Jianghua’s excitement. He looked entirely enthralled by her desperate cries. He reached out again, this time toward the jade belt at her waist, intending to undo it.
At this point, Qin Yanyun felt total despair. Her ability to act was completely suppressed; she could do nothing. Powerless, she closed her eyes, two lines of sorrowful tears tracing down her cheeks. She could only await her cruel fate, having no other recourse.
Boom!
In the nick of time, a ball of lightning descended from the heavens, striking Jin Jianghua directly on the head. Lost in his excitement, he had no time to defend himself. He was left disheveled and charred, his hair a wild mess.
Qin Yanyun felt none of the expected intrusion at her waist. Just as she was about to open her eyes to see what had happened, she felt herself wrapped in something akin to a cloak. When she opened her eyes, she was no longer on the cliff, but inside a barrier of laws floating in the clouds. It had all happened so suddenly that she hadn't even had a chance to react.
Jin Jianghua was left dazed by the lightning strike. By the time he recovered, the beauty was gone, and no one else was around.
As Qin Yanyun cleared her vision, she saw a youth in white standing with his back to her, hands
