Cheng Feng noticed that Hua Tianyu had no intention of speaking, so he pretended to ask casually, “I wonder what this thief came to steal? Once we take him to the security office, I’ll interrogate him properly.”

He was determined to find out whether Situ Dao had confessed.

Hua Tianyu had no intention of telling him about the interrogation, nor did he mention the documents and the USB drive found on Situ Dao. Once the group had left the human resources department, Wang Hong, who had been packing up her things, paused and gently approached Hua Tianyu. She tilted her head, gazed at him for a moment, then said, “Thank you. Counting that previous time, you’ve saved me twice now!”

Hua Tianyu shook his head slightly. “Don’t thank me, it sounds too formal! I’m so handsome—if you offer yourself to me, I guarantee you wouldn’t regret it!”

“Mm, what is it?” Wang Hong lifted her head again, a bright smile on her face.

“I wasn’t prepared just now, and you kissed me too quickly. What does that kiss feel like? Now I’m ready—how about you kiss me again? Make it last a bit longer.”

Wang Hong tilted her head as if pondering. “Hmm…”

Then, suddenly, she darted a few steps away in the opposite direction, flashing a mischievous smile. “Catch me if you can! If you catch me, I’ll agree.”

Hua Tianyu laughed heartily. “That’s too easy! If I catch you several times, does that mean you’ll kiss me several times?”

Wang Hong giggled, dodging back a few more steps. “Take a guess!”

She wore a pink sports headband, tying back her lovely hair; a pink sports bra revealed a deep, mysterious valley; black fitted leggings traced every curve with precision. Coupled with her naturally beautiful face, she was stunning beyond words.

To Hua Tianyu, who aspired to win the hearts of all beauties, letting such a girl go would be worse than death.

The beauty’s forehead glistened with sweat, and she was breathing heavily. With every deep breath, the valley on her chest seemed to undergo seismic shifts.

Hua Tianyu took a deep breath, glancing at either side of the valley, murmuring to himself, “Impossible, simply impossible! This completely defies the law of gravity!”

Hua Tianyu stepped forward, shaking Shu Yue’s slender, fair hand. “Did she mention my elegance or my handsome demeanor?”

“Hehe,” Shu Yue smiled playfully. “Wei Xueying didn’t describe you exactly that way.”

“Haha, she’s saving my handsomeness for you to discover yourself,” Hua Tianyu replied with mock seriousness.

Shu Yue’s eyes still twinkled with amusement. “You’re exactly as she described.”

Hua Tianyu feigned surprise. “Ah, that won’t do. Someone as handsome as me should be a mystery, impossible to define. How could you find any pattern?”

Shu Yue covered her mouth, laughing softly, as she began to observe this “infuriating yet heroic” man of whom Wei Xueying had spoken.

Watching the two converse, Wang Hong suddenly felt a pang of nervousness and unconsciously moved closer to Hua Tianyu, returning to his side.

Seizing a pause in their conversation, she quickly said, “Shu Yue, look at these documents and this USB drive. Are they from your lab? We just found them on that thief.”

“All right!” Shu Yue nodded, her face losing its playful expression and becoming grave as she began to examine the files Wang Hong handed her.
