“Whether there’s a make-up exam or not, we’ll talk about that later!” Lin Lin strode forward, placing a hand on Hua Tianyu’s shoulder. “Just now, you saw everything of my friend. What do you think should be done?”

Hua Tianyu pondered for two seconds. “You’re just asking ‘what should be done’? That simple?”

“Yes, say it! I’m reasonable.” Lin Lin lightly patted his shoulder twice.

Hua Tianyu said, “What should be done!”

Lin Lin was speechless.

Mei Yanyu was speechless.

Hua Tianyu spread his hands. “You asked me to say it!”

Lin Lin’s eyes widened. “That doesn’t count. I’m going to punch you twice to vent Xiao Mei’s anger!”

Hua Tianyu asked, “If you hit me, will I pass tomorrow’s make-up exam?”

Lin Lin hesitated. “...I won’t hit you! Xiao Mei, you do it yourself!”

Mei Yanyu, covering her mouth, laughed. “Forget it, Lin Lin. He didn’t do it on purpose.”

Lin Lin snorted. “Lucky for you, I won’t bother with you anymore!”

Hua Tianyu paused for two seconds. “Will I pass tomorrow’s make-up exam?”

Lin Lin felt herself on the verge of collapse. “I’ll review, I’m going to study right now. I haven’t gone anywhere tonight, I’ve been in the dorm studying!” With that, she hugged her elective course textbook.

Glancing at the book, Lin Lin suddenly remembered something and asked, “By the way, where’s my dad?”

This time, it was Hua Tianyu’s turn to be silent. He met Lin Lin’s eyes, then looked at the textbook in her hands, and spoke slowly. “Your father has a mission and can’t come back. As he neared his apartment, his phone rang again.

“Tianyu, Lin Lin said you’ve been out for ages. Where are you? Why didn’t you come see me?” Tian Li’s voice on the phone was sweet as honey.

Hua Tianyu laughed. This girl, having tasted the storm for the first time, was already addicted to its flavor. But Hua Tianyu, being experienced, knew the subtleties and, for the sake of the long run, decided more rest was needed—he wouldn’t harm her.

“Rest well for a few days. In a couple of days, I’ll come and properly deal with you, you little minx.”

“In a few days, I’ll probably get my period.” Tian Li on the other end found another excuse to tempt Hua Tianyu.

Hua Tianyu pondered for two seconds. “These days, I have my ‘uncle’s visit’.”

“...Go to hell!” Tian Li stomped her foot, pouting, and hung up fiercely.

The night passed uneventfully.

After all, they frequently see the CEO. If they want, the driver can occasionally whisper a word here or there. If they spread hot air, they can float someone up like a hot-air balloon; if cold air, they can slam someone down, face-first.

But Hua Tianyu had no intention of arguing with them. As long as they didn’t cross his boundaries, he kept a faint smile on his face, as if nothing had happened yesterday.

“Understood, starting at 9:30 p.m., half an hour. First, steal the data from the lab, then go to HR and find the file of that female researcher, Shu Yue.”

“When you’re searching for Shu Yue’s file, help me find one for Hua Tianyu, the CEO’s driver.”
