Author's Note on Official Publication

This Friday, May 12th, at twelve noon, this book will finally be officially released. I am incredibly nervous; it would be a lie to say I am not worried about the results. But worrying is useless, and regardless of what happens, I guarantee that this book will not be abandoned! Even if only a few people are reading, I will finish it to the end!

I am not here today to play the victim! The current achievements of this book have far exceeded my initial expectations. I always thought it would be impossible to get signed, and by the time I received the notification at fifty thousand words, I had actually already stopped updating three times!

Therefore, this message is simply to express my gratitude to all of you—nothing more!

First and foremost, I want to thank the following brothers who have supported me since I was only at about twenty thousand words and had not yet signed! You have been voting and supporting me since February, a full two months!

Since I started writing, I have encountered countless obstacles and a great deal of criticism. I have deleted nearly 200 comments regarding the use of the first-person perspective, and I have blocked about 100 people for insults and unreasonable harassment. From initially feeling down for a long time after encountering trolls to now ignoring them entirely, it is all because of the support and encouragement of my brothers.

I have said before that I care about every brother who supports me! But I do not care about anyone who dislikes me. I will not beg for subscriptions from those who do not recognize my work! I would rather spend my energy on the brothers who support me.

Furthermore, it is not that I cannot accept suggestions; as long as they are stated politely, we are all friends! But some people, at the slightest provocation, start calling the author names or saying the protagonist is an idiot. For such people, I delete their comments entirely without a second thought. I do not even have the mood to explain, even if they might subscribe in the future. After all, seeing such things has too much of an impact on my mood.

Actually, I really wanted to list every brother who left an impression on me, but there are simply too many. I would also like to thank He He hha, who helps me find typos and polish the text every day after I finish writing. Lin Xiao has also pointed out quite a few things. Thank you.

On the day of the release, I will post three chapters to start, with additional chapters depending on the situation. Furthermore, the conditions for adding chapters for Helmsmen remain unchanged, and I will add a chapter for every rank reached thereafter. The cap for the first day should be ten chapters!

After the release, there will be a baseline of two chapters per day, with additional chapters calculated separately. Thank you all for your support!
