Mark rose to his feet with a slight movement, and John immediately understood, casting a schadenfreude-filled glance at Scar Tiger.

If Scar Tiger fought him, at most he would merely hold his own.

But if he faced Mark, whose methods were famously ruthless, the situation was entirely different.

Mark ambled over with an air of indifference, stretching out a finger toward Scar Tiger.

Seeing Mark step forward personally, Scar Tiger’s expression changed dramatically. Though Mark’s physique was not as imposing as John’s, simply standing there, his overwhelming aura radiated out, oppressive and suffocating.

Others might not sense it, but someone like Scar Tiger, who had lived on the edge for years, could feel it clearly.

This man was even more terrifying than John!

“Come on, then!” Scar Tiger, though aware he was outmatched, pressed on for the sake of his pride.

Mark suddenly burst out laughing, unable to contain his amusement.

“What’s on your mind? Do you really think a useless wretch like you is worth my time?” he jeered. “I mean all of you who can throw a punch, get up here. Don’t waste my time!”

“You—!” Scar Tiger’s face flushed with rage. In over a decade in the underworld, no one had ever dared provoke him like this.

Mark ignored him, surveying the crowd like a king surveying his subjects, pointing at people one by one.

Those he singled out, knowing they stood no chance, lowered their heads in defeat.

“Forget it, if we can’t go up to the third floor, so be it. It’s not a big deal.”

“Yes, we’re fine on the second floor.”

Gradually, some began to acquiesce, their resolve eroding under the pressure.

But Lin Peipei and the others were furious at their cowardice, stamping their feet anxiously.

To back down now would be to concede to Mark’s mockery.

Hearing these comments, a sly smile flickered across Mark’s face as he spoke, almost as a reminder:

“Oh, right. When I said you’re not going upstairs tonight, what I meant is that I want the pleasure of every Chinese woman on this ship to myself. Don’t get the wrong idea.”

“When the banquet begins, send all the girls from the second floor up to the third. I want to savor what Chinese women have to offer.”

This declaration sent a shockwave through the crowd.

“What did you say!?”

“Touch them and see what happens!”

They had all come aboard with families, and on these two floors were their mothers, sisters, even daughters.

Now Mark was brazenly declaring he would have his way with every woman on the ship.

Was this not a direct challenge to their very limits?

Those who were about to let the matter drop now rose to their feet, blood boiling, stripping off their jackets as they moved toward Mark.

But John and the others only sneered in their hearts at the scene.

“These yellow-skinned wretches really are simple-minded.”

“They can’t even see that Mark is deliberately goading them, looking for an excuse to cripple them all?”

“With Mark’s twisted nature, he’ll take them out and then make a show of taking their women right before their eyes.”

That’s why John had said, from the start, that any woman who caught Mark’s eye was truly unlucky.

Though his family had trained Mark to appear gentlemanly on the surface, it couldn’t hide his innate cruelty.

The women he touched were left either dead or ruined.

Normally, John and the others might have stepped in to restrain Mark, but today was his birthday.

“Tough luck for you,” John sneered coldly.

If anything happened, they could simply blame the organizers, wash their hands of the matter, and return home without consequence.

“Damn it, there are so many of us here—how could we not take down just one of him!”

Most of the men had now gotten to their feet, closing in around the dance floor.

“Is this all? Not even enough to fill the gap between my teeth!” Mark jeered shamelessly.

Scar Tiger led the charge, striking out with savage force, fiercer than both Li Dong and John—hoping this punch would do some damage.

But facing Scar Tiger’s powerful, ferocious blow, Mark neither blocked nor dodged.

He waited until the fist was almost upon him, then, with a casual grip, threw his own punch straight at Scar Tiger’s.

Crack! Crack!

A series of bone-shattering sounds rang out!

The two fists collided.

Scar Tiger’s entire arm, as if it had struck an iron hammer, shattered from end to end—his chest bones splintering as well. Had he used his left, the force might have burst his heart outright.

Boom!

Scar Tiger couldn’t even stay on his feet. Mark’s punch sent him flying dozens of yards, slamming into a marble pillar before crumpling, unconscious, his fate uncertain.

At the sight of this mighty blow, the crowd’s eyes widened in disbelief.

Li Dong had at least managed to take a few punches from John.

Scar Tiger, far stronger than Li Dong, couldn’t even withstand a single punch from Mark.

The hall instantly fell into a deathly silence.

The fire that had just been kindled was swiftly extinguished.

“So this is your best? Pathetic!” Mark sneered.

He immediately stepped forward, advancing with heavy strides, and slapped several of those who had entered the dance floor square across the face.

Their ears rang; none could resist. They flew across the floor, faces bloodied.

Seeing this, the others who had been about to enter the dance floor shrank back in terror, afraid they’d be the next to suffer a beating.

For a moment, the scene was frozen in fear.
