“What?!”
“That card really belongs to him?”
The classmates who came with Chen Wenqing all froze on the spot in astonishment.
Qin Mu really was a diamond member here!
Chen Wenqing felt as if he’d swallowed a fly, retreating to the back of the crowd, too ashamed to show his face.
Just moments ago, he’d thought Captain Li was coming for him, even adjusting his clothes to keep up appearances.
But it turned out that Li was actually looking for Qin Mu.
“Then why didn’t he just say so earlier? We wouldn’t have embarrassed ourselves like this…” Sun Ling pouted.
If Qin Mu had insisted on clarifying things from the start, they wouldn’t be in such a predicament now.
“Please watch your words,” Captain Li warned, turning around sharply when he heard Sun Ling’s complaint.
On this ship, a diamond member’s status was second only to the organizers.
After that brief exchange of glances with Qin Mu in the corridor, Li had rushed up to the third floor to investigate.
Had he not asked, all would have been well; but after inquiring, he nearly caused a serious incident.
The diamond membership card was indeed a gift from a distinguished guest.
And the one who’d given it was no ordinary person, but the top celebrity, Luo Shui.
When Luo Shui heard that Li had confiscated Qin Mu’s diamond card and caused him to lose face, she flew into a rage, slamming her hand on the table and berating him mercilessly.
Captain Li had no idea what the relationship between Luo Shui and Qin Mu was, but whatever it was, he as a mere security guard was in no position to offend either of them.
So he hurried down to apologize and make amends to Qin Mu.
“Mr. Qin, here is your card,” Captain Li said respectfully, returning the diamond membership card to him.
Looking at the card in Qin Mu’s hand, Scar Tiger’s expression was equally grim.
He never would have imagined that this seemingly average youth would possess a diamond card.
Such a man was far beyond the reach of a small-time casino boss like himself.
Even if Brother Dong himself were here, he would have to speak with utmost respect.
“All the chips will be converted into cash and returned to your and your friends’ accounts,” Scar Tiger said, standing upright and bowing respectfully.

To recognize the times and act accordingly is the mark of wisdom.
Lin Peipei received her credit card with delight.
The Lin family had only just begun to rise with Qin Mu’s support, and she hadn’t had much pocket money before.
After this round, her funds had multiplied several times over, at the very least.
The other classmates could only look on with envy; if only they’d trusted Qin Mu and offered to lend him money, perhaps their fortunes would have multiplied too.
Alas, they had failed to recognize greatness when it was right before their eyes!

“I’ve arranged for a top-tier suite for you all, at the stern on the second floor. Please proceed there and wait for the banquet,” Captain Li announced.
“A top-tier suite? The kind with a view of the bay?” Sun Ling’s gloom vanished instantly upon hearing this.
“Of course,” Captain Li replied with a smile, leading the group.
When they reached the suite at the stern, the classmates were as excited as if they’d moved into a new home, happily exploring and thanking Qin Mu along the way.
Without Qin Mu, they would have been lucky just to sit in the hall on the second floor until the banquet; they’d never have had the good fortune of a private suite.
“I’ll head back to my room now. See you at the banquet, and thank you for your help today,” Lin Peipei said to Qin Mu with a bright smile.
Qin Mu nodded in reply, and she departed with a cheerful heart.
What she was looking forward to most was the evening’s event—the chance to see her idol in person.

Qin Mu also returned to his room and took out his phone to send a message.
“Are you free during your concert tonight?”
“What’s up?” The reply came in less than half a minute.
“I have a friend whose birthday is today. She says you’re her idol.”
Qin Mu sent the message straightforwardly. This time, it took a while before the other party replied, telling him to wait.
Qin Mu simply leaned by the window, gazing at the sea.
Soon, there was a rapid knock at the door.
Qin Mu opened it, and a figure darted inside in a flash.
The visitor was dressed in a warm-toned trench coat, just as before, wearing sunglasses and a mask, afraid of being recognized.
“Weren’t you invited? Why are you still in disguise?” Qin Mu said, amused.

Her getup was so comical—a beautiful woman made to look neither quite human nor ghost.
“It’s all for you!”
Luo Shui removed her sunglasses and mask, finally able to breathe freely.
“If someone saw the famous Luo Shui entering an unknown man’s room, what do you think they’d say? How many reporters would swarm you for an interview?”
“My fault, it’s all my fault,” Qin Mu admitted, waving his hands in surrender.
“So, what’s the story with your friend?” Luo Shui sprawled boldly across Qin Mu’s bed, stretching without a care.
Bathed in sunlight, her short sapphire-blue top rode up slightly, revealing a flawless waist.
“She’s just a young girl whose birthday is today, and you’re her idol…”
Qin Mu hadn’t finished before Luo Shui suddenly sprang up and threw her arms around his neck.
“A young girl?!”

A woman’s intuition in such matters is terrifyingly sharp; she instantly seized on the key detail.
With unexpected strength, Luo Shui pushed Qin Mu down on the bed, straddling him, her posture exceedingly suggestive as their eyes met.
“You’re seeing other girls behind my back!”
The moment she said it, she realized the contradiction—Qin Mu wasn’t her boyfriend, so what did it matter how many girls he chatted up?
At the thought, Luo Shui felt even more miserable. Her fragrant hair fell around them, fair skin pressed against him, and she buried her face in his chest, sobbing dramatically.
If outsiders were to witness this—Luo Shui, usually so cold and aloof, acting so coquettishly with another man—they would surely be outraged.
“She’s just a sixteen- or seventeen-year-old girl. Are you really that jealous?” Qin Mu said with a helpless smile.
“Yes! Absolutely!” Luo Shui replied with a pitiful look, all the more endearing for her vulnerability.
Men like Qin Mu were rare in this world; if he ran off with another woman, Luo Shui feared she’d cry her eyes dry.
After a while, exhausted from crying, she let go and simply collapsed on top of Qin Mu, her tall, slender figure melting against him.
Her scent was intoxicating, her skin warm as jade.
With other men, Luo Shui always felt a natural aversion, but only near Qin Mu could she truly relax and feel at ease.
