Chapter 119: The Grand Melee
“Kill every Japanese person present, as a warning to others!”
As if pronouncing a death sentence, Jiang An spoke these cold words and lunged toward the Japanese ship.
Most of those present were Chinese, and far from fearing trouble, they were stirred to righteous indignation by Jiang An’s declaration. Some even harbored the urge to join in and wipe out these Japanese descendants. It was domineering—utterly domineering. On that single Japanese ship, there were over a hundred people, including attendants, bodyguards, sailors, officials, and tycoons. Yet, Jiang An spoke of killing them as if it were nothing, showing not a hint of hesitation.
“How dare he! How dare he!”
Nishimura’s face was as pale as parchment. He kept muttering the phrase, though it was unclear whether he was reacting to Jiang An’s insult toward Master Kamiya or the threat to slaughter every Japanese person present.
“Nishimura, run first! Run, just run!”
Beside him, Cao Taihuan’s face was darker than the bottom of a pot. Seeing Jiang An sprinting across the water with an expressionless face, a deep sense of dread gripped him, and he shoved Nishimura.
Damn it, forget the tough talk—saving their own lives was the priority!
“Right, start the ship! Evade his edge first!” Nishimura roared.
The entire ship’s company was trembling with fear at Jiang An’s words, especially after witnessing him extinguish the armored monster without the slightest effort. All their courage and pride had long since shattered; now, only one thought remained in their minds: flee! Flee as far as possible! This star of ill omen was too terrifying!
*Gasan! I want to go home!*
The Japanese screamed for their parents, seemingly waiting only for the arrival of death.
However, just as Jiang An approached the Japanese vessel, an unexpected turn of events occurred!
*Bang! Bang! Bang!*
Powerful auras surged into the sky one after another, reckless and violent, far surpassing the strength of the previous armored monster by several times!
“Mr. Demon, you killed three of our Sovereigns; now it is time for you to pay your debt! I, God Three, am going to roast you like a suckling pig!”
On a yacht to the front left, a massive, scorching column of fire erupted, swirling in mid-air before revealing a Western man with fiery red hair. Flames engulfed his body, the extreme heat vaporizing the surrounding moisture into white steam. Under the billowing mist, he appeared like a fire god descended to earth. He was none other than God Three of the Sovereign organization, a top-tier expert with power rivaling the Third Realm of Martial Arts Grandmasters!
“Mr. Jiang, I am Augustus, Cardinal of the Bright Vatican. I would like to invite you to visit ancient Europe. I hope you will not refuse.”
Beside God Three, an elderly Western man with a benevolent expression rose into the air, stepping on white light. Breezes swirled around him as if obeying his commands. His aura, while powerful, carried a sense of salvation, making him appear like a messenger of God, compelling one to bow in worship.
“Mr. Jiang An, I am Tim from the United States’ Ark Association. You can call me the Space Folder. The man beside me is Alexander the Rubber Man. We wish to invite you for some research. Don’t worry, the kind that won’t cost you your life.”
On the American ship to the right of the Japanese vessel, the void of space seemed to open like a window, and two figures leaped out: a middle-aged Black man and a white man with brown hair and thick lips. Both wore tight-fitting suits made of special materials, giving them a cool, sci-fi appearance. Although they didn’t emit a terrifying aura, they exuded an extremely dangerous vibe.
The four individuals appeared as if they had coordinated it, all speaking fluent Chinese. Their goal was clear: to capture Jiang An!
“Hahaha, no need to run anymore! Even if the brat Jiang is heaven-defying, he cannot escape the encirclement of four Third-Realm Grandmasters! How satisfying!”
Cao Taihuan, aboard the Japanese ship, felt his body relax and burst into laughter. Things had finally reached this stage; with the four great Western experts intervening, there was no longer any doubt.
Nishimura nodded repeatedly. Recalling the humiliation of having to flee in a panic, a malicious gleam flashed in his eyes as he thought about how to abuse the prize once Jiang An was captured.
“You all seem to be overstepping your bounds, acting as if there is no one left in China? Then all of you can stay here!”
An even more terrifying and powerful aura dispersed the colorful clouds. Not far away, a figure appeared, encased in cyan armor that left only a pair of cold eyes exposed. The armor had fully materialized, exquisite and brilliant—the result of extreme internal energy circulation. On the right breast of the armor, a magnificent black dragon head pattern had formed. The person’s momentum was like a mountain and a sea, exerting pressure in all directions.
The Protectorate Villa, Azure Dragon Envoy!
“Coincidentally, I, Song Han, am here and would also like to exchange a few pointers with you gentlemen!”
From the camp of the Four Great Clans, on the Song family’s ship, Song Han ignited his internal energy, forming a white suit of armor. Though not yet fully materialized, his powerful aura was unmistakable; he was naturally here to help Jiang An.
At the same time, the silver-haired elder on the Hua family ship showed a wry smile, then leaped out. Once outside, a set of exquisite and domineering golden-yellow armor automatically formed around his body. He proclaimed loudly:
“Hua Yuan of the Hua family is here! You guests had better retreat!”
There was no helping it; this was Chinese soil. If a group of foreigners wanted to forcibly abduct a Chinese Grandmaster, the great Chinese experts present had to act, or the reputation would be ruined. Moreover, the Four Great Clans were known as the Pillar Clans of the Nation; they had to intervene in this situation. Even if they viewed Jiang An as a rival to the Hua family, they could not refrain from helping him now.
Regrettably, the other two great clans had not sent Third-Realm Grandmasters, and the Five Major Wealthy Clans had sent none at all. This meant there were only three great Chinese experts present.
However, all the Chinese people were incredibly excited. They didn’t worry about whether their side could defeat the three opponents; they only wondered how long it would take to take them down!
The four opposing Grandmasters, however, were solemn, even worried. On the Chinese side, even the weakest, Song Han, could hold one of them back, as could Hua Yuan. Most importantly, there was the Azure Dragon Envoy. Don’t be fooled by his absence from the God Ranking; it wasn't due to a lack of strength, but because he was low-key and hadn't participated in the Godly Path Assembly. He was one of the absolute peaks among Third-Realm Grandmasters—perfectly capable of handling two of them alone.
However, the Western side held a slight advantage: Jiang An was already in their encirclement, while the three Chinese experts were still a distance away. As the two sides stood in a standoff, neither moved rashly.
Augustus, the Cardinal of the Bright Vatican, saw his expression shift twice before he finally gritted his teeth and spoke in English: “Once the fighting starts, I am confident I can intercept the Azure Dragon Envoy for a short time. God Three, you hold off Hua Yuan. The Ark Association will split one person to intercept Song Han. The remaining person will capture Jiang An in the shortest possible time! By the way, we still have a few Grandmasters—tell them to assist from the sidelines. As soon as the target is secured, we retreat immediately! According to the plan, we will sail to the waters of Korea!”
The other three had no reason to disagree, especially since Augustus had volunteered to intercept the most terrifying Chinese opponent. God Three said, “Fine. This time we cannot return empty-handed; we must secure the target. As long as we reach the Korean waters, we are safe!”
“We agree!” the Space Folder, Tim, nodded in agreement. “I will take the target. Alexander’s rubber body will have no problem pinning down Song Han!”
In a short span, the four reached a consensus. After exchanging glances, they surged into action!
“Kill!”
“Seeking death!”
Seeing this, the Azure Dragon Envoy grew furious. He was the first to leap forward, riding the wind and breaking the waves, glowing with brilliant cyan light like a peerless martial god.
Song Han and Hua Yuan followed closely behind to meet the enemy.
The great East-West war had begun!
