Chapter Twenty-Three: The Next One to Die

Liu Mengchao felt quite at ease now. At least, he didn’t feel much pain. Thinking of Uncle Dante’s performance in Devil May Cry, being able to fight grotesque monsters and only suffer minor injuries, compared to that, the blow to Liu Mengchao’s back was nothing.

Liu Mengchao tilted his head and looked at the girl beside him. Izumi Akazawa’s face was full of worry.
