Louis flipped the tablecloth like he was drawing a card from the bottom of a deck, then cast a nervous glance underneath.

Flesh-colored stockings—it seemed Sakura Bell was the only one wearing a skirt today.

He reached out to touch, only to find a foot shivering in fear. After listening in on the others' inner thoughts, he realized it was indeed Sakura Bell.

Louis looked up with a blank expression, only to find Sakura Bell still putting on an act. He slapped her foot down with a swift motion.

Not long ago, Sakura Bell had been terrified of Louis, yet last night she was calling everyone "brother-in-law" and "sister-in-law." Now she was already starting to act mischievous. Her courage was truly growing by the day.

After breakfast, Count Crowley arrived. Osicrys carried herself with a sense of gravity.

Come to think of it, her family had always maintained a close relationship with the Crowley family. They had even been joined by marriage in the past as distant relatives. So, strictly speaking, she still had to address him as "Uncle."

Although she had been on good terms with Kate, they hadn't been in touch for a long time—especially since the aristocracy was so snobbish. They hadn't really been friends in years.

However, because Louis and the Crowley family were on such good terms, her own relationship with the family had been restored. Recently, not only had Kate grown closer to her, reviving the feeling of their childhood, but even Kate's father had begun to support her.

Gaining the backing of this Grand Governor was something Osicrys had always felt was a daunting task, so she was inwardly quite thrilled.

On the surface, however, she still had to maintain her royal composure. Thus, their conversation was elegant, steady, and poised.

Crowley had actually come to "see" the princess today, and the several questions he posed were answered by her with great insight.

He could tell that this princess, who had spent so long at the Theological Seminary, was indeed well-informed. She was completely different from the foolish noblewomen and ladies of many princely houses and great aristocratic families.

This left Crowley inwardly very satisfied, feeling he had not backed the wrong person.

After chatting for a while, Osicrys introduced Count Sakura Bell to Crowley.

Crowley had heard a thing or two about the mysterious Fox family.

[A wizard... is this someone Louis invited for the princess?]
[It seems the Holy Oak Academy isn't just some theological seminary, but a school of the mysterious...]

Louis heard Crowley’s inner thoughts. He could now be certain that the heads of the nobility were aware of the existence of wizards. They just didn't know about Holy Oak.

This was likely because, as the conflict between wizards and Muggles intensified, Francesco had cast a spell on the name "Holy Oak," weakening its presence in the eyes of Muggles. The purpose might have been to prevent his alma mater from being caught up in the war.

Louis hadn't told Crowley much about wizards, but as Crowley deepened his cooperation with Storge and the Hammer of the War God, he would slowly come to understand more things.

After chatting a while longer, Crowley felt it was time to move on. He ended the topic, offered another slight bow, and came straight to the point: "Your Highness, I still need to borrow your knight for today."

"You are too kind, Count Crowley," Osicrys said with a smile. She looked at Louis and gave a slight nod. "Sir Louis, please go along with Count Crowley."

Louis nodded slightly, then looked over at Sakura Bell, who was quietly puffing on a pipe. He intended to ask her about the "Dragon Race" on the way, so he decided to bring her along.

As they went downstairs, Sakura Bell chatted with Count Crowley, acting every bit the poised and elegant countess.

After a few exchanges, they arrived at the garden in front of the lobby. Crowley said he needed to make a call, so Louis asked Sakura Bell some questions about the dragon race.

From Sakura Bell, Louis learned that there were five great dragon clans. They were once one of the strongest forces in the world, calling themselves the "Dragons of World Protection," though in reality, they had committed countless evils.

However, after Anthony killed the Moon Goddess, the dragons were thoroughly terrified. And after the rise of wizards, the few remaining dragons began to fear them as well.

Even now, dragons remained extremely wary of wizards, so they no longer wandered the world in their true forms causing chaos as they once did.

Fire dragons were technically dragons, but they were not descendants of the five great guardian clans. Thus, they possessed low intelligence, knew no magic, and certainly could not shapeshift.

The descendants of the guardian dragons, however, not only possessed immense intellect but also powerful magic—they all claimed to be descendants of the "World Guardian Dragon, Galak."

These descendants of Galak all possessed noble bloodlines and inherited memories. Each one had a name and a lineage. Compared to them, ordinary dragons (fire dragons) were like primitives.

Many of the larger fire dragons were five or six stories tall, but the Galak dragons were generally even larger, often reaching eight or nine stories in height.

A very small number of older Galak dragons could grow nearly a hundred meters long.

That Mr. Brockhole at Holy Oak Academy was a big shot twenty stories tall; if he crawled onto an office building and spread his wings, he could cover the entire thing!

And the famous dragon "Storge" was over a hundred and forty meters long! He was as long as a skyscraper, and if he spread his wings, he could likely cover an entire castle!

To call him "Deathwing" would not be an exaggeration.

These dragons all had their own territories, or "Dragon Kingdoms," served by dragon-kin. They were not like those "stunted" fire dragons that were frequently captured by wizards.

Isolde was a human with the bloodline of a Galak dragon.

"If Isolde is of dragon blood, why don't Muggles know that dragons exist in the world?"

Sakura Bell glanced at Count Crowley, who was at the lobby telephone, and the people passing by. She took a calm puff of her pipe and, adopting a professional tone, said, "My lord, the dragons are divided into several branches, all of which live in seclusion overseas. When they occasionally come to the human world, they present themselves as dragon-kin."

Sakura Bell continued, "The Isolde family hasn't intermarried with dragons for over a thousand years. Or rather, in these past millennia, only King Isolde gained the recognition of a dragon and became a 'Dragon Knight.' As for the descendants of King Isolde, they have no connection to dragons anymore, at most only marrying dragon-kin wizards."

"However, ever since the death of Francesco, Her Majesty Delphinia has established contact with the Black Dragon clan."

"The Black Dragons are the most active and ambitious of the five dragon clans. When they operate in the Muggle world, they often call themselves 'Nefarians.' After shapeshifting, their appearance looks quite similar to dragon-kin, so Muggles have always assumed the Nefarians are simply the royal family of a mysterious overseas kingdom established by dragon-kin."

"Furthermore, during the war between Muggles and wizards, the Black Dragon line once helped Sorondo under the guise of being Nefarians."

After talking for a while, Louis had gained some understanding of the background.

By now, Count Crowley had returned, and the three of them arrived in front of the hotel. Louis noticed that a carriage pulled by six horses was waiting at the entrance.

The style of the carriage was somewhat peculiar—very old-fashioned. It didn't look like the modern style Crowley preferred.

"That looks like... a Moon Court carriage?" Sakura Bell hesitated.

Crowley gave an embarrassed smile, pulled open the door, and invited Louis and Count Sakura Bell inside. But as Louis stepped into the carriage and looked up, he saw Bishop John sitting in the opposite seat, smiling brightly.

Louis was stunned.

Crowley boarded, closed the door, and gave an awkward cough. "The identity I arranged for you today requires the help of the Moon Court. Bishop John didn't let me mention it before, fearing you wouldn't come."

"Your Excellency John," Louis said, about to get back out, "I am a priest of Holy Oak! You can't keep trying to poach me! We have rules, you know! I can't go to the Moon Court for baptism! How would I ever show my face in the (wizarding circles)... er, at Holy Oak again?"

John didn't say much. He just chuckled, and then pulled out a letter.

Louis opened the envelope with a strange expression. It was a letter from the assistant to Principal Oliver, written on behalf of the principal. The content essentially ordered Louis to visit the "Cathedral of St. Anthony" to foster relations between the two sides.

Sakura Bell leaned over to look at the letter, then rubbed her forehead, speechless. "People from the 'Mysterious Retirement Home' getting baptized at the Moon Court—I suppose that counts as a tradition..."

Louis: "???"
