The station wagon slowly came to a halt by the roadside, but no one got out.

Seeing this, Roan narrowed his eyes slightly, while Ryder wondered if they had targeted the wrong vehicle.

Just at that moment, August's communicator suddenly rang.

On the other end of the line was a deep, raspy voice. After instructing August to enter the unlocked small villa by remote control, the door of the station wagon slowly pushed open.

A total of six women with delicate facial features, voluptuous figures, and tight-fitting hip-hugger skirts stepped out of the vehicle.

"Whoa."

Seeing this, Ryder silently tightened his grip on his weapon, his voice entirely flat as he muttered:

"If I had known this was the assignment, I would have taken it solo."

"I've recorded that statement."

From the driver's seat of the Chevrolet, Roan raised an eyebrow. While meticulously checking his weapon, he said with a smile:

"I'll be sure to forward this to Ivana later."

Hearing this, Ryder’s movements and expression instantly stiffened. After a few seconds of silence, he asked in confusion:

"Aren't we moving in now?"

"Wait a moment."

Roan shook his head, pointing at the station wagon and explaining:

"The target's engine is still running. If we strike now, there's a chance they might successfully escape.

Once August gets all six girls inside and the target turns off the engine, that's when we strike!"

Upon hearing this, Ryder, Lacey, and Mona nodded in unison and shouted:

"No problem!"

Inside the villa, the front door was slowly opened by August.

Looking at the young women in front of him who were around the same age as his own daughter, August felt a deep sense of gravity in his heart, yet he still managed to wear a surprised and delighted expression on his face:

"Good evening, ladies! Hurry on inside!"

"Good evening, Mr. Thomas."

Thomas was August's alias; when playing in these circles, nobody used their real name.

Noticing that the man waiting for them was a pot-bellied Black man, all six women furrowed their brows.

Still, the woman leading the group walked into the villa with a smile and asked:

"So, Mr. Thomas, are you satisfied with what you see?"

"Of course I am satisfied!"

August poured himself a glass of water, swallowed it in one go, and then rubbed his hands together, wearing an impatient expression:

"What about the rates?"

Instead of answering immediately, the lead girl smiled and countered:

"First tell me how many you want to choose, Mr. Thomas. One, two, or three?"

August made a grand sweeping gesture with his hand:

"I want all of them!"

Hearing this, the eyebrows of the six girls twitched instantly. The lead girl dropped the small talk and stated directly:

"Then you need to pay in advance. Eighteen hundred for six girls for one hour, thirty-five hundred for two hours.

Give me the money, and I'll tell the driver that we've reached an agreement, and then..."

At this point, the girl licked her lips.

"OK, no problem!"

Playing the part to the hilt, August decisively pulled a thick stack of cash from his pocket, counted out the amount, and handed it over.

Seeing the lead girl pull out her phone to send a message, August turned and walked toward the nearby bathroom, smiling as he said:

"I'm going to take a shower, ladies. Give me a few minutes."

Outside the small villa, the man in the station wagon glanced at his phone, then turned off the engine. Seeing this, Roan did not waste any breath and spoke directly into the communicator:

"Move in!"

Receiving the order, Ryder, Lacey, and Mona—fully armed and waiting for this exact moment—immediately opened their doors and stepped out of the vehicle.

The four of them gripped their Glock pistols, crouching in tactical postures as they slowly approached the station wagon from both sides.

Right at that moment, the man inside the vehicle suddenly noticed something. His expression shifted drastically as he frantically twisted the key to start the car.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Without hesitation, Roan and Ryder pulled their triggers, firing directly into the front and rear tires of the station wagon.

Hiss—

Accompanied by the sound of escaping air, Lacey and Mona, positioned on the opposite side, sprinted right up to the car.

Crash! Bang!

Clatter—

The two women smashed the front and rear windshields of the station wagon with the butt ends of their weapons, aimed their Glocks at the man in the driver's seat, and shouted in unison:

"FBI! Don't move!

Hands on the steering wheel! Or we will open fire!"

Hearing this, the man turned his head sharply toward Lacey and Mona, his face twisted in a ferocious grimace.

The two women used the moment to clearly see the man's face. He was an exact match for the simulated sketch of Tony provided by Janelle.

Mona and Lacey's warnings failed to make Tony surrender. On the contrary, with a ferocious expression, Tony opened his mouth wide and let out a beast-like roar before lunging directly toward Mona at the passenger-side window.

Bang!

Crash—

Before Tony's body could even fully clear the driver's seat, Roan—who had already reached the vehicle—smashed the glass of the driver's side door with a single punch and firmly grabbed Tony by the back of his collar:

"What are you roaring for?"

Tony's forward lunge was forcefully halted mid-air. Before he could react, Ryder pulled open the car door, and Roan used the momentum to switch hands, dragging Tony bodily out of the driver's seat.

Seeing Tony turn and attempt to grab and bite him, Roan frowned and, using the exact force and direction of pulling him out, threw Tony backward with both hands.

With Roan's terrifying, monstrous strength, Tony flew through the air like a ragdoll, tracing a graceful arc before slamming heavily onto the hard pavement.

Thud!

Accompanied by the heavy thud of impact, whether it was an illusion or not, Ryder felt as though he heard the distinct sound of bones cracking.

With bloodshot eyes, Tony let out a roar and scrambled back to his feet on the spot. Instead of choosing to run, he swung his fists and charged at Roan once more.

Seeing Tony's actions, Mona, Lacey, and Ryder did not waste time. They immediately aimed their weapons at Tony's arms and legs and pulled the triggers.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Firing at such close range, all three of them struck their targets with pinpoint accuracy.

To their absolute shock, however, although Tony winced in pain when the bullets struck, he still gritted his teeth and charged at Roan with swinging fists.

"Leave it."

Roan raised an eyebrow, signaling the three of them to hold their fire—capturing a live prisoner was more important. He stepped forward into a lunge and threw a right hook. Gathering the full strength of his entire body, his fist moved with lightning speed, striking Tony squarely in the chest with devastating force.

Bang—

Before Tony could even process what was happening, the heavy blow landed on his chest, causing it to cave inward instantly.

The terrifying, overwhelming force erupted in a fraction of a second, sending Tony flying backward through the air. His body hurtled a long distance before crashing heavily back into the exact spot where he had landed moments before.

Unlike the previous time, Tony no longer had the strength to get back up.

Though his eyes remained bloodshot, the indentation in his chest was glaringly obvious, and the agonizing pain radiating from it far exceeded the limits of human endurance.

With a few gurgling rasps in his throat, Tony spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, his head slumped to the side, and he passed out completely.

The air at the scene fell into an abrupt, heavy silence. Mona and Lacey stood frozen in utter disbelief. Staring at Tony, who lay unconscious before them with his caved-in chest, their minds replayed the vivid imagery of that moment over and over again.

Beside them, the highly impactful scene thoroughly stunned Ryder. Standing next to Roan, his eyes bulged wide, his mind went completely blank, and he even forgot how to breathe.

Although Ryder had long known that Roan was exceptionally strong and possessed immense physical power, he had only ever had a vague guess as to just how strong or to what degree.

Yet Roan's display just now clearly told Ryder that his estimation had still underestimated Roan. That kind of raw strength was enough to step into a professional boxing ring and dominate!

"Call an ambulance, quickly!"

Taking a deep breath, Roan retracted his fist and instructed Mona and the others to call for an ambulance immediately—Tony still held crucial leads and could not be allowed to die. Then, he strode quickly toward the small villa.

"Wait a second, Roan."

Hearing Roan's order, Mona did not hesitate and pulled out her phone. Lacey and Ryder, snapping out of their shock, hastily suppressed their astonishment and called out loudly:

"What are you going into the small villa for?"
