Sudden Publication Notice (And a Somewhat Frivolous Afterword)

I asked my editor today when the book would be officially published and monetized.
My editor said: "Oh, it's already at one hundred thousand words, let's launch it tomorrow then!"
So, it will be launching tomorrow (January 21st).
However, because this is rather sudden, and yours truly has been sick for a while lately (and still isn't feeling too great), I don't have any banked chapters saved up...
Therefore, I will try my best to write a bit more today. If I can manage over six thousand words, I'll release three chapters; if I just can't push through, it'll be the regular two chapters instead, QAQ!
As for my thoughts, I actually have quite mixed feelings about writing this book.
On one hand, I can no longer predict how the plot will develop at all. I only know the general route and the final ending, but what each character will actually do has completely gone off the rails.
On the other hand, as I keep writing, I suddenly find myself feeling quite helpless, as the lives of the vast majority of characters in the book are fraught with their own helplessness.
Everyone seems boxed in by some sort of framework. Some struggle all their lives trying to break through their cages, some are content to carve out a corner for themselves and stay put, while others risk their lives to shatter their shackles.
I feel deeply emotional about it, and during the chapters where Sister Cheng truly walks out of the Cheng family, I cried like an absolute fool.
As the plot has progressed to this point, about a small fifth of the book has passed. Sister Cheng has left the Cheng family, and Old Su has also become a bit more human than before.
I don't know what they will ultimately become, but I wish everyone both inside and outside the book gets what they truly desire.
