“Grandpa Mu, how is my mother?”
Li Meijun shouted toward the elderly physician, who was busy inside the clinic.
The bodyguards nearby were equally anxious, all of them turning their eyes toward him.
Grandpa Mu hurried outside, followed closely by a beautiful young woman in a white nurse’s uniform.
Her skin was fair and delicate, and her bright, expressive eyes sparkled with intelligence. Even her loose nurse’s trousers could not conceal her long, graceful legs. She was a tall, stunning beauty.
Yet her expression was tense, clearly filled with concern for Lin Kexin’s condition.
“Let me examine her!”
Grandpa Mu pressed two fingers to Lin Kexin’s wrist, and his expression gradually darkened.
“The stagnant energy in her chest has invaded her heart and obstructed her airway. If this continues, her life will be in danger!”
As he spoke, he took out a set of silver needles and swiftly inserted them into the area around Lin Kexin’s chest and windpipe, hoping to ease her condition.
However, Grandpa Mu’s acupuncture failed to work.
Instead, the stagnant energy inside Lin Kexin’s body began rebounding violently. Blood even started seeping from the needle wounds, while her complexion faded from red to white.
It was obvious that Lin Kexin’s illness was extremely difficult to treat.
“Grandpa Mu, why has my mother’s face become so pale?”
Li Meijun was first shocked, then furious.
“I heard that your medical skills were superb, which is why I brought my mother here for treatment!”
“But not only has her condition failed to improve, it’s gotten even worse!”
Before she had finished speaking, the bodyguards behind her stepped forward one after another, their eyes filled with menace.
The beautiful nurse turned pale with alarm and hurriedly tried to calm her down. “Miss Li, please calm down. Your emotions will interfere with my grandfather’s treatment!”
Li Meijun refused to relent and began shouting abuse instead.
“Treatment? I think your grandfather is trying to harm people! You’re his granddaughter, of course you’re going to defend him!”
“If anything happens to my mother, I’ll not only shut down your clinic—I’ll make your entire family pay the most terrible price!”
Grandpa Mu was already deeply distressed by the sudden deterioration in Lin Kexin’s condition.
With those threats added to the pressure, his mind completely collapsed.
He nearly fell to the ground. His hands trembled so badly that he could no longer hold the silver needles steady, and the corner of his mouth began to droop.
It was obvious that he had become so enraged that his circulation had been thrown into disorder. If he was not treated immediately, he could suffer a stroke.
The beautiful nurse hurriedly supported him, her face full of worry.
“Grandpa, what’s wrong? Don’t scare me!”
Li Meijun and the others were startled as well.
Was Grandpa Mu about to die?
Could he be pretending to be ill to escape responsibility?
“Take my mother to the nearest hospital at once. And bring this old man along. Don’t let him fake an illness and escape!”
Li Meijun was aggressive and showed no concern whatsoever for Grandpa Mu’s life.
The beautiful nurse was frantic. Clinging tightly to him, she cried, “My grandfather is on the verge of having a stroke! What you’re doing is murder!”
Li Meijun sneered coldly. “If he has a stroke, he brought it on himself. Who told him to be incompetent and make my mother’s condition worse?”

The bodyguards behind her glared viciously and prepared to seize the old physician.
“This is going too far!”
Lin Yu had witnessed everything from the clinic entrance. Burning with anger, he strode inside.
“Lin Yu!”
Liu Yuting cried out in alarm, but it was already too late to stop him.
One of the Li family’s bodyguards shouted a warning. “No unauthorized people are allowed inside! If you know what’s good for you, leave now!”
Lin Yu immediately struck out with his palm, sending every bodyguard blocking his way flying into the street.
Both the beautiful nurse and Li Meijun were stunned.
The situation had already been chaotic enough. Now someone had even started fighting outside.
And judging by his movements, the newcomer was clearly extraordinarily skilled.
Li Meijun frowned and shouted, “Who are you? How dare you hurt members of the Li family!”
Lin Yu ignored her completely. He walked straight over to Grandpa Mu, patted him on the chest and forehead, and sent a strand of immortal energy into his body.
Whoosh!
The blocked blood vessels in Grandpa Mu’s brain and heart were instantly cleared. The confusion in his eyes vanished, replaced by clarity.
The beautiful nurse, Mu Roushuang, was utterly astonished.
What incredible medical skill!
After catching his breath, Grandpa Mu realized that Lin Yu had saved him. He was both moved and embarrassed.
“Mr. Lin, this is truly humiliating. I never thought I would make such a fool of myself in front of you…”
Lin Yu smiled reassuringly. “Life is full of ups and downs. You were simply having a bad day. Don’t dwell on it, or your blood vessels may become blocked again.”
Grandpa Mu nodded repeatedly, his eyes overflowing with gratitude.
Only then did Mu Roushuang realize that this was the medical genius her grandfather had mentioned repeatedly over the past two days—Lin Yu.
“Mr. Lin, thank you! Thank you for saving my grandfather!”
Overwhelmed with emotion, Mu Roushuang hurriedly bowed to him.
Lin Yu smiled warmly and helped her back to her feet.
Even Li Meijun had been shaken by Lin Yu’s extraordinary medical skill.
But she quickly recovered.
This man named Lin Yu was so young. How could he possibly possess such astonishing medical abilities?
“It’s fake! It has to be fake! He’s just a scapegoat Grandpa Mu brought in!”
“If something happens to my mother, Grandpa Mu can walk away without bearing any responsibility!”
Seeing that Li Meijun was still making trouble, Grandpa Mu and his granddaughter, Mu Roushuang, were nearly driven mad with rage.
Even Liu Yuting, standing nearby, frowned.
She had heard that the eldest daughter of the Li family, Li Meijun, was spoiled, willful, and vicious. It seemed the rumors were true.
In reality, she was even worse than people had imagined.
Smack!
A sharp slap suddenly struck Li Meijun across the face, sending her sprawling to the ground.
She let out a piercing scream.
The left side of her face swelled rapidly, and the corner of her mouth split open.
Everyone was utterly shocked.

Even Mu Roushuang could hardly believe her eyes.
She had never imagined that Lin Yu would dare to slap the eldest daughter of the Li family.
“You dared to hit me! Do you know who I am?” Li Meijun screamed hysterically.
To everyone’s astonishment—

Lin Yu slapped her across the other cheek as well.
This time, he sent her flying out through the doorway, where she landed face-first in the dirt.
“Hiss…”
Everyone present stared in stunned silence as Lin Yu struck her again and again.
Mu Roushuang, in particular, was breathing rapidly, her chest rising and falling violently.
As for Li Meijun, both cheeks were swollen, blood trickled from the corner of her mouth, and her hair had come completely loose. She looked utterly transformed.
Grandpa Mu, Mu Roushuang, and Liu Yuting all felt immensely satisfied by the sight.
The anger that had been building in their hearts was finally released.
It was thoroughly satisfying.
“You bastard! You’re… you’re dead! I’ll never let this go!”
Li Meijun lay on the ground, cursing furiously.
Lin Yu looked down at her coldly. “I despise spoiled, domineering heiresses like you.”
“If the Li family has the courage, come and take revenge on me.”
“Try insulting me one more time, and I’ll kill you on the spot.”
Li Meijun immediately began trembling in fear, not daring to utter another word.
Grandpa Mu and Mu Roushuang found the sight especially gratifying.
Li Meijun had finally met someone she could not bully.
At that moment, two luxury cars sped up and stopped outside the clinic.
A sturdy man in a suit and an old man dressed in martial arts robes quickly entered.
The man in the suit was none other than the head of the Li family, Li Dongkang.
The old man following behind him was his personal bodyguard, Su Yun.
“What happened here?”
Li Dongkang’s expression changed drastically when he saw all of his bodyguards lying on the ground.
However, his greatest concern was his wife, Lin Kexin.
“Darling, how are you?”
Lin Kexin had suffered from a lack of oxygen because the stagnant energy had attacked her heart. She was nearly unconscious and could barely speak.
Li Dongkang therefore turned to Grandpa Mu and asked, “Grandpa Mu, how did my wife’s condition become this serious?”
Grandpa Mu was about to explain when Li Meijun scrambled to her feet and shouted, “Dad, you’re finally here!”
“Grandpa Mu’s medical skills were inadequate, and that caused Mom’s condition to deteriorate so suddenly!”
“They even tried to shirk responsibility, and they had this man named Lin Yu beat me!”
