Wang Xingyu remained deeply resentful that Cheng Xiangyu had chosen to leave with Lin Feng. It felt as though his own wife had been snatched away, a sensation that left him feeling profoundly aggrieved and consumed by a burning rage.

Glancing at He Tiantian and Qin Meng, who were by his side, he felt a sudden urge to throw them down and unleash the fury boiling within him. The thought of Qin Meng—who had once been Lin Feng’s girlfriend—only intensified this desire. However, preferring for women to take the initiative, he refrained from pouncing immediately and instead said, "My beauties, thank you for choosing to stay with me. Rest assured, once we are rescued and return to Haicheng, I will reward you both handsomely and take one of you as my wife. I just wonder which one of you is willing."

"Ah!" Both He Tiantian and Qin Meng were stunned by the pleasant surprise. Wang Xingyu was the son of the City Lord; marrying him meant entering a wealthy family and soaring to new heights.

He Tiantian quickly chimed in, "I am willing, Young Master Wang, I am willing!"

Qin Meng followed immediately, "Young Master Wang, I am willing too. And don’t worry, even though Lin Feng thought of me as his girlfriend, I only ever treated him like a sycophant. I never let him touch me; my virginity is still intact."

Wang Xingyu laughed wildly in his heart. *Hahaha! If Lin Feng knew that the girl he had chased for so long without ever touching was about to become my woman, he would surely die of anger!*

Suppressing his thoughts, he smirked, "Heh, I never expected both of you would be so willing. I just don't know if you’re just saying that or playing with me. After all, Lin Feng pursued Qin Meng for so long and was still treated as nothing more than a lackey."

The implication was clear: if they wanted to marry into wealth, they needed to show sincerity.

Qin Meng hurriedly said, "Young Master Wang, how could a poor kid like Lin Feng compare to you? I truly want to marry you; I am not playing around."

"Young Master Wang, I am sincere too, and I am still pure," He Tiantian added, even more proactive than Qin Meng as she burrowed into Wang Xingyu’s arms. Seeing this, Qin Meng quickly followed suit.

Wang Xingyu felt a rush of satisfaction being able to hold both of them on this deserted island—and knowing one of them was Lin Feng’s goddess made it all the sweeter. He leaned in toward Qin Meng, ready to enjoy himself.

"Achoo... Achoo..."

Suddenly, he felt unwell and could not help but sneeze twice, spraying phlegm all over Qin Meng.

Qin Meng had always believed that a woman shouldn't give herself to a man too easily, or she wouldn't be cherished. She hadn't been keen on moving so fast, but fearing she would lose her chance to He Tiantian, she had been forced to be proactive. Now, covered in his spit, she recoiled in disgust and wiped it off. Looking at Wang Xingyu, she smiled forcedly, "Young Master Wang, you seem to have caught a cold. Let’s save those things for when you’re better."

She winked at He Tiantian, signaling her not to give in so easily. He Tiantian caught the hint and echoed, "Yes, Young Master Wang, you really do seem sick."

Wang Xingyu shook his head. "It’s nothing. I’m fine. I want it now." He cared little for his health; he only wanted to vent his rage. Yet, just then, a sharp, piercing pain shot through his brain, as if he had been stabbed by a needle, and he was struck by sudden, violent dizziness.

He Tiantian watched in alarm as Wang Xingyu’s eyes rolled back and he collapsed. "Young Master Wang, what’s wrong?" she asked, shaking him. He remained motionless, his eyes tightly shut, as if dead.

"What happened?" Qin Meng hurried over, equally panicked.

As He Tiantian shook him, she suddenly pulled back, screaming, "Ah! Sister Meng, his body is burning up!"

Qin Meng reached out and touched him, confirming he was indeed feverish. "I don’t know what's wrong! I’m not a doctor!"

He Tiantian exclaimed, "Wait, Lin Feng is a doctor! Let’s go find him to treat the Young Master!"

Qin Meng hesitated. "They aren't on good terms. Will he help?"

"Perhaps," He Tiantian reasoned, "but he was your sycophant for months and worshipped you as a goddess. If you tell him you’re willing to give him another chance, he’ll surely obey and save the Young Master."

"But we don't even know where he went!" Qin Meng countered.

"Stop wasting time and go look!" He Tiantian urged. "You’re smart; you’ll find him."

"It’s almost dark, and there are leopards in the woods..." Qin Meng worried.

"Do you want to save him or not?" He Tiantian snapped. "If the Young Master dies, we get nothing!"

"I’m not saying we shouldn't save him," Qin Meng replied, "but we should bring him with us. That way, if we find Lin Feng, he can treat him immediately, and we have safety in numbers."

He Tiantian agreed, and the two women hoisted the unconscious Wang Xingyu between them, heading in the direction Lin Feng had taken. Qin Meng followed the footprints left by Lin Feng and Cheng Xiangyu.

Noticing leopard tracks alongside the others, He Tiantian whispered, "Sister Meng, are we going the wrong way? This looks like it leads to a leopard den."

"They followed these tracks," Qin Meng said. "I don't know why, but this is our only path to finding him."

As the sky turned pitch black, He Tiantian grew terrified and wanted to stop, but Qin Meng suddenly smiled. "Tiantian, smell that? Smoke!"

He Tiantian took a deep breath, and upon catching the scent, her fear vanished. "Great! Lin Feng is just ahead!"

The two women quickened their pace until they spotted a cave glowing with firelight, with thin wisps of smoke drifting from the entrance. Knowing Lin Feng and Cheng Xiangyu must be inside, they shouted excitedly, "Lin Feng! Lin Feng!"
