Li Siqi’s face slowly flushed, yet she could not pull her leg back at all. Frantic and mortified, she was beside herself with embarrassment.

Gong Wanru noticed something was wrong and asked, “Siqi, what’s the matter?”

“Nothing. I must have been bitten by a mosquito.”

“There are mosquitoes here? Why haven’t I seen any?”

“Maybe I was mistaken.”

“Your face is so red.”

“It’s a little hot.”

“Isn’t the weather rather cool today? How could you be hot?”

Li Siqi was practically on the verge of tears. Sister Gong, must you always bring up exactly what shouldn’t be mentioned? Can’t you see that bastard is tormenting me?

She extended her other leg, hoping to kick Ye Nan’s hand away, but he seized that leg as well.

This time, she was truly helpless.

Nearby, Gong Wanru was speaking with Yan Ruoliu and paid no attention to them.

That was the only bit of good news.

Just as Li Siqi was feeling utterly helpless, she suddenly sensed something. Her heart tightened, and she shot Ye Nan a fierce glare, her face filled with shame and anger, her teeth clenched in fury.

This man was utterly despicable. How could he do such a thing?

Gong Wanru said, “Ye Nan, go out tomorrow and look around. Try to clear out the supermarkets and convenience stores near the neighborhood, and gather as many supplies as possible. I’m afraid this disaster may not end anytime soon, so we need to prepare for the long term.”

“All right. I will.”

“Thank you for your hard work.”

“It’s no trouble. You can reward me properly afterward.”

Gong Wanru smiled sweetly. “How about letting Siqi reward you? What do you think?”

Li Siqi was speechless. In a faint voice, she said, “Well, I’m on my period.”

Gong Wanru leaned close to Li Siqi’s ear and whispered something to her. Li Siqi’s cheeks immediately grew hot, and she shot the beautiful mature woman an embarrassed, resentful look.

In truth, Li Siqi wanted to say: Sister Gong, you have no idea what this man is doing. If you did, you would probably feel like beating him to a pulp.

“By the way,” Ye Nan said, “tomorrow morning, you’ll have to come out with me and clear the zombies from the villa district. It will give you some practical combat experience, and I also need to collect a few crystal cores to stabilize my cultivation. In the afternoon, I’ll go out alone. That will be safer.”

“Fine. No problem.”

“Some of the villa owners have turned into zombies, so we can’t let the food they left behind go to waste,” Yan Ruoliu said. “If we can find a crossbow or something similar, that would be even better. The sound of a pistol is simply too loud and could easily attract a large number of zombies. Unless absolutely necessary, it’s best not to use one.”

Ye Nan nodded in agreement. “That makes sense.”

“Then it’s settled,” Gong Wanru said.

They had just finished eating when Li Siqi saw Ye Nan’s body shudder and heard him draw in a breath. In an instant, she understood what had happened.

Oh no, oh no. Thank goodness Gong Wanru and Yan Ruoliu hadn’t noticed. Otherwise, how could she ever face them again?

Li Siqi quickly pulled back, finally managing to free her leg. She immediately let out a breath of relief.

After dinner, Li Siqi returned to her room. The first thing she did was take off her stockings.

Then she poured in some laundry detergent and began scrubbing them vigorously.

When she thought back to everything that had just happened, her heart began pounding. It all seemed so unbelievable.

To be honest, she had always been a very conservative woman. Yet Ye Nan had crossed her boundaries time and again. Strangely enough, she felt no revulsion whatsoever. Instead, she found it increasingly thrilling.

The sensation was truly peculiar, difficult to describe or explain.

There was little entertainment left in the post-apocalyptic world. Since it was still too early to sleep, the four of them went to the home theater and casually picked out a movie.

The film had been released shortly before the apocalypse began, and it was rather risqué. As the plot deepened, the male and female leads embraced and began making suggestive sounds.

That scene deeply affected all four people watching.

The three women in particular wore awkward expressions. They wanted to change the movie, but doing so would only draw attention to the situation and make things even more embarrassing. In the end, they could only abandon the idea.

The movie slowly passed amid the restless beating of their hearts.

Afterward, Ye Nan went to Gong Wanru’s room. Looking at the voluptuous beauty, he began to grin mischievously...

Partway through, Yan Ruoliu came over, and Ye Nan went to open the door for her.

The moment she entered, Yan Ruoliu saw Gong Wanru wearing yoga clothes, a trace of seductive allure still lingering on her face.

Feeling somewhat embarrassed, Gong Wanru pulled a nearby quilt over herself, concealing her devilishly curvaceous figure. With obvious irritation, she asked, “What are you doing here?”

Gong Wanru glared at her.

Yan Ruoliu continued, “You saw me last time, so this time I’m going to see you. That’s only fair.”

Gong Wanru was utterly speechless and did not know what to say. But she could not outargue Yan Ruoliu, so she simply let her have her way.

By the time Ye Nan and Yan Ruoliu emerged, an hour had already passed.

Afterward, the two of them went to Yan Ruoliu’s room.

Ye Nan could not help sighing inwardly. Fortunately, he was an enhanced ability user with extraordinary physical strength; otherwise, he would have collapsed from exhaustion long ago. This was truly a case of pain and pleasure intertwined.

Then again, if he had not been an enhanced ability user, he would never have been able to win over so many beautiful women. He could only have hidden away in some tiny corner, struggling to survive.

Yan Ruoliu changed into a sexy backless, body-hugging dress that left her devilish figure completely exposed. The curves of her hips were especially striking, extending even wider than her shoulders.

She took the initiative to stand before the floor-to-ceiling window, bent over, and braced both hands against it. Looking back over her shoulder with a seductive smile, she said, “What are you waiting for? Come over here.”

In the morning, the four of them hurriedly finished breakfast and went off to make their preparations.

They had quite a lot to do that day and needed to make haste. Otherwise, they would not have enough time.
