The next day.

Qin Feng called Xu Banxia, intending to ask for two days off. However, after calling several times and getting no answer, she blocked him.

Qin Feng twitched his lips. This woman... what kind of mood was she in now? With no other choice, he took a taxi straight to the hospital, intending to ask her what was going on.

As soon as he reached the door of her office, he heard her voice from inside.

Qin Feng’s face turned livid. Ignoring him entirely, he marched over and delivered a slap that sent Li Mingyuan flying from one end of the desk to the other.

"Ouch!" Li Mingyuan gasped in pain, his face contorting.

"Qin Feng... why are you here!" Xu Banxia was also surprised, but upon seeing him, she felt an immediate sense of relief. Her heart raced. "Are you okay?"

Qin Feng looked at her with concern and comforted her, "With me here, this scumbag won't lay a finger on you."

His angry roar echoed through the floor. Many doctors and nurses were startled and gathered by the windows and the door to watch the spectacle.

"Why are they fighting?"
"It looks like Young Master Li was trying to harass Department Head Xu, and Qin Feng hit him!"

"Fire me?" Qin Feng raised an eyebrow, dismissive. "You don't work at the hospital, and you aren't my boss. By what right can you fire me?"

"By the right that my father is the dean! A bottom-feeder like you, I can crush with a single word!" Li Mingyuan brandished his status, his arrogance flaring as he vowed to deal with Qin Feng harshly.

"Dad! I’m in the emergency department. That kid named Qin hit me! Get over here now!"

After hanging up, he pointed at Qin Feng and shouted, "Don't you run, kid! Wait until my father gets here and see how he deals with you!"

*Oh no...* Xu Banxia turned pale. She knew well that the dean would never let Qin Feng go after his son had been beaten, and she wouldn't be able to protect him either. *Sigh... Qin Feng shouldn't have struck him!*
