What if one day, the heavens ceased their silence and opened their eyes to gaze upon the world of mortals, insignificant as ants? "The Secret Annals of the Celestial Court": In the Era of Azure Lotus, in the 31,200,000th year of the Heavenly Emperor’s reign, the Celestial Court encircled the Altar Beyond the Realms, seeking to vanquish both the Defiled Demon Infant and the Son of the Demon Realm.
Suddenly, a swordsman appeared, astride a silver dragon, seizing the Demon Infant and departing. The ensuing battle, known as the Fall of the Sun, claimed countless lives in a single day: the Son of the Demon Realm perished, as did tens of millions of heavenly soldiers.
Note: The Battle of the Fallen Sun remains shrouded in mystery. Of the nine suns that once shone upon the world, one was lost; of the nine celestial legions, one was annihilated. Yet not a single historical record, whether celestial or mortal, contains any account of these events.
Shamefully, I am but a humble Grand Historian of the Celestial Court. Nevertheless, I must set down the truth with my own hand, that those who come after may know, and that the chronicles I pen may offer solace to history. Here ends the historian’s account.
